Alright so here is what I've decided to try for now. I bought a 20-20-20 inorganic fertilizer from a local garden/yard store. I'm going to give this a swing for now and maybe try *small* amounts of osmocote in tea bags. I'm hoping to avoid any possum farts that might tear my bags, and by using a small amount initially I can gauge how the trees take to it. How does this seem to all of you for a start?
Also, if any of you have any interest I added a post to the WTB portion of this forum. I'm looking for a starter tree or two. Small, tropical, beginner friendly. I've been pining over the Tiger Bark Ficus but I'm open to any suggestions or offers you all might have.
