New Serissa, Not Sure What to Do?

Thanks again for all the advice! I've held off on watering it, so hopefully it will start looking a little happier soon. There's a little browning on some of the leaves. Is that from too much water or is the sun too strong for it?

Could be both. don't expose it to direct sun until it recovers, give it shade and only water when it is almost dry. The leaves that are on there now that are brown/yellow will probably fall off but once it gets growing it will take off.

Thanks again for the advice! For some reason the site is being a little temperamental and won't let me post pictures, but I see three new flower buds and lots of tiny green leaves growing. I'm figuring (hoping!) the new growth means its doing alright.

It will be fine. They really do come back nicely handled as John said. Good to hear you are seeing progress as well. I found that although most would think full sun is best it is really not the case until you acclimate them up here. Filtered Sun works good for a year or two. Also, let it see a few nights in the 35 -40 F range up here in the Fall before you bring it in for Winter. They will drop like crazy inside and then come back same as yours is now but they MUST see a bit of cold.
