New Nao pot for my California juniper.

I collected this small, chuhin size Cali about 10 years ago with Harry Hirao. I've had it in a Jim Gremel moon pot as a semi cascade but never really liked the pot... looked like PacMan eating a tree. I got this pot from Nao at the Pacific Expo and put the tree in it in a more upright position. I like it!

I agree with others that the new pot creates a better composition. I can go either way with moon pots and plantings but I have to say I Do Not like that moon pot. It looks too contrived.

Like new pot. A LOT better. But to me it looked like Rosemary's Baby jumping out of the buggy.
