this is my first bonsai and and i don't know were to take it from hear. I like the shape of the tree now but want a little more height on it. i have looked for tips on youtube but have come up short. Does it look healthy? Any care tips and styling tips are greatly appreciated!

I hate this tree merely because every single household has one, there’s an extreme lack of variety in modern China’s taste in trees.

A lovely plant. In terms of making into a fully realized bonsai, I can’t say that a money plant is a good choice. It is a great house plant, but will probably remain as a great house plant. It’s nice that it has piqued you’re interest in bonsai though! If your interested in a species that you could keep inside and work on to become bonsai I would suggest a ficus or Chinese elm maybe. Ficus are tough and that may be a better option if you are looking to get your hands dirty with bonsai! Welcome to the nut house!

In Taiwan it is very much the same. If it is not inside looking dreary, it is outside the front door looking neglected.
Having said that, I have seen a few lovely specimens that must take some care to get them to that state.
On another note, if you kill one of these trees, taking care of plants is probably not for you.
