I have been lurking around the forum for a while and finally decided to join. I've been playing around with bonsia for about a year to a year and a half, but all trees I have are juvenile. Most are purchased at nursery's and I have a few collected. I am lucky enough to live within about 2 hours of meehans minitures and natures way bonsia nursery's where I have taken a few classes. Below are a few small trees. Any suggestions on how to improve anything I have would be greatly appreciated.

Dwarf crape myrtle root over rock. I potted this in the spring and am letting it recover before doing anything

Two small junipers from the clearance section of a big box store. That had multiple small trees.

Shimpaku from a class at natures way nursery in fall 2012. Still letting it recover but would like suggestions to improve shape.

Also not shown but will post as I have question are a:
Collected yew
2 Large trunk collected azaleas
Collected beech
Scots pine
Cotoneaster
Red leaf maple
Large trunk unknown juniper
Multiple kingsville boxwood and privet.

Thanks again for any feedback.

Welcome Matt,
You will get more feedback if you post the pictures here, instead of linking. Also, it is bonsAI, not bonsia...;)

Hi matt, welcome to BN. Like judy, I think your interests would be better served for feedback by posting in the threads that deal with specific trees. For example your azealas in flowering.
nice to have almost 2 yrs under your belt as your confidence in keeping should be strong. Now the design part comes into play and the resources here will help contribute to that. looks like your off to a good start :)

Welcome,

Ill echo Judy's comment aboutt pictures. People are wary of clicking outside links sometimes. Also,if you upload to this site, its easier for us to see them.

Or imbed the photobucket pics here...not just the link.

Working off a tablet can stink when you have fat fingers. I will try posting in the species specific sections.
Thanks
