Need 2 Augment Reflector Hood 4 Grow Light

due to various factors and limitations, I need to get a clamp lamp for my grow lights, like shown below. unfortunately, the CFL bulb is 11-12" in length, longer than the hood is deep. is there a reflective material I can use to attach to the lamp to extend the reflective hood so that the bulb is completely inside the lamp reflective surface?

Aluminum foil??? That would look pretty crappy though. I wonder if you could find some aluminum flashing that is unpainted at a local hardware store.

Are there larger versions of that clamp light? I thought they came in a few sizes.

it's the largest I could find of this style. those big hoods would be too big.

as for foil, it wouldn't keep its shape , I would think.

would aluminum flashing be a good reflector itself, or would a material glued onto it do better?

Get some mylar. If you want to be cheap, get one of those emergency blankets, and cut it out so that it fits to what you need.
