Entry #1: Dwarf Alberta Spruce

I've been working on this tree a little bit at a time, and was able to mostly finish up the main structure this evening. I didn't wire many secondary branches. Since I cut so many branches off the trunk, I left the remaining branches longer than they'll be in the final design. The lowest 2 branches will likely be removed. Apex still needs a little work.

This thing has been growing like crazy. I'd like some more interior growth, so I pinched the new growth tips. I also wired down some branch tips that had taken a 90° turn upward.
