Maybe they're on sale because they're all in those barfy green pots? If you got 2 you had to pay $11.95 for shipping. If you would have gotten 3 the shipping would be free and you would have another tree for $8. Just sayin'.

Oh well, three trees would be even harder to explain, im running out of square feet down here. And yeah that color kinda sucks ...I ain't complaining

I normally like green pots, but you are right Carol, these tend toward barfy. I received 2, one in black and one in barfy green. Then I read the referenced post and decided I should have bought 3. Well, long and the short is I just received those three and two where in the barfy green and one in black.
The first two were very nice and I sold one at a farmers market. In the 3 just received, 2 are nice enough and one is fairly exceptional. I will only be keeping two of them (or maybe one).
Service and packaging were excellent.

I repotted mine, I could not live with those ugly pots. Probably not recommended to do with recently shipped trees but it's been a week and they're perfectly fine. I did not mess with the roots at all, just raked out the soil and repotted in Bonsai Jack soil, which I like better.

Sorry this took so long! I hate it when the micronerds sneak into your computer and change the way it operates without telling you.

I bought this as a 1 gallon nursery plant in 1975. "Eldest Child" survived many near-death experiences and my decades of ignorance.
