My First Port

Starting a thread to track the progress on my first port. I've had this tree for about eight months and fully expected it to die following a spider mite infestation given my limited knowledge. To my pleasant surprise, it seems to have recovered and has been growing consistently. Take that mites! About a three month difference between the two pics below from May to August:
