I tried to post an update to the original thread and for some reason these threads do not get added to the "What's New" category so it seems unless someone else is posting to the thread it continues to sink in the quicksand of forum policy until it disappears.
Well so after a couple of days being under the weather and contemplating the removal of a main branch I have continued work on the raft. If your reaction to what I have done was not of interest to me I would not have posted it.
