Making the big move from Chicago to Phoenix in the next month or so. Of course, I am towing along a group of my bonsai. Here's just a small list of what I'm bringing. Any thoughts on survivability? What can I do to make the setup for them as positive as possible? I know a lot of things will be going against me trying to keep these alive out there. Just curious if anyone has had success with any of these in the Phoenix area.

  • Trident maple

  • Mugo pine
  • Various ficus
  • Bougainvillea
  • Portalucaria
  • Boxwood

Tbh, we just hired a service that helped us pack and move our trees. That's why I think it's the most reasonable idea. I think I'd have gone crazy if I had tried packing all my trees. Though we hired a service, I was very nervous about the survival of my trees. So, no tree was broken during the transportation. Btw, we've moved to Phoenix too. Actually, our friend who works as a florist advised us about that service, so for more details, you can click here. I hope I've helped you. Keep us updated!!
