Me and the fam did our annual and centuries old New Mexico tradition. Farolitos (or luminarias depending on what part of the state you’re in) on Christmas Eve. Basically a brown sack with sand and a candle.

Haha. Yes you are absolutely incorrect. I’m from Santa Fe and they are and always will be called Farolitos. Not to be confused with road side fires ie. Luminarias.
