I do have an over abundance of ficus lately. Might give that a crack too.

It is not what the illustrations from the book show but I think this way may be useful. I have not tried it. Ficus are very forgiving in the growing seasons.

So I've noticed. My desk tree at work already got a hard chop because even indoors under a light it's almost doubled in size. Wrong time of year, but I was running out of elbow room.
