All my pots are fired to Cone 6 and become stoneware after the second firing. I have a few that will fire to Cone 10 this batch, also stoneware. What temperature do you bake them, and for how long?...

In pottery there is a Cone chart that directly corresponds to a specific temperature. There is also actual pyramidal cones that we use that's designed to melt once it hits that temperature on the chart. That's how we can tell if a kiln is under or over fired past a target Cone. If you use 3 different cones...example Cone 5, Cone 6, Cone 7 cones. You can easily tell what the temperature is at that particular spot in the kiln. And while it may be hard to believe the kiln can have different temperatures inside. Usually the top half is a bit lower/colder than the bottom. The opposite can also happen if your elements on the bottom are failing.Thanks.
I will search the web to what cone 6 and cone 10 correspond to, but thanks again.
Congrats on such a lofty endeavor. And the meticulous crafting of each and every pot......1
