1400 miles in a day, groggy and 40 hours of no sleep. We picked up 30 trees.
I picked me one out!


I know she isn't the craziest thing you've seen.
Some would argue it wasnt worth the trip. But the experience of riding 20 hours with two old men that are professional shit talkers as well as some knowledge thrown in the mix, id say the journey was priceless. This tree now has a story for me, which gives this tree and many others a special place in my heart.

That will make a great flat top one day.

Make sure to keep it super wet. You could even sit the whole thing into a mortar tub filled with water. Helps with the buttressing.
