Well...I have an area that either raccoons destroyed or the wind did last year . I was a bit disheartened. But decided...I could incorporate a bonsai table there then instead . But...still was a bit sad. Loved how ones eyes rested there.

My birthday pressie...
I need to decide on how high I wish it to be. Totally wickedly cool. No longer sad about the previous area being gone. 😁

Video up on Instagram of it. It isn't in place yet.

That's one industrial looking bonsai display pole! love that the individual side tables can be rotated and locked in place to suit different trees.

Is the centre supporting pole drilled into the rock?

Waiting to see what trees you put on it.

Thanks...yes very...Steam punk/Industrial.

My husband cemented the copper pole last night into place. He also filled the lower section of the pole with concrete as well. Something he did when he made the copper pipe handrail coming up from our driveway years ago.

Yes the overall build is great. Since you can slide the sections up and down the pole...and also angle/turn them. To suit the tree for viewing. I'm stoked...to set the thing together later today. About to hit my home gym...but my mind is on setting this together. So my counts are going to be all askew. I've a bead count bracelet to help keep set counts. But if I can't count reps. I'll continue to start over until one is completed. I have a feeling leg day will go longer than normal. Lol

Off with me...and thanks for the kind words.

Mighty Fine indeed! The component patina finish is superior. The placement mobility alone would be fun to operate at any time. Well done!

It was pretty cool assembling for use. I'm exhausted ...and possibly sunburned. Sun was on the back patio...trying to place trees so the are well viewed from their chosen front.

I'm so exhausted...intense early morning workout...then time with this in the sun. Sweating...and exhausted . Time for a shower...but quick photos. I wish I had thought to take a photo before I strapped the trees down with bungee cords.

The post stands at eye level.

Very nice!
A new stand or display area can really make you see your trees in a new light. I wonder if your hubby could fashion some sort of steampunk type tie downs to hold them on instead of the bungees...

This was built by the metal fabrication shop in town. The owner actually. My husband builds with wood. (General contractor)

I'm out of my small thinner bungee cords. But I'll get some thinner black ones to tie down. Which will be less cumbersome on the eyes. The large ones are distracting. I had no idea this was even being built. It was a birthday gift. Which also surprised me...as I forgot my birthday was coming up. I truly have man mentality over dates. I even forgot our anniversary one year. Mind you it had come to mind that we had hit the month. But then vanished from my mind. Fortunately he doesn't hold that against me.

My manners...thanks Judy.

Another angle...coming up from the lower patio.
