I am participating with 3 trees in this contest. The others are an 'itoigawa' from airlayer, and a "blaauw' from layer, each in their own thread:

This is a rooted cutting which I propagated maybe 3 years ago, and alwas has been sitting in a small pot in a tray with similar cuttings. I took this one, and trimmed a side branch to get as close to a standard commercial rooted whip, as I did not have such a simple whip fully unworked.

I wired out the main trunkline but looking at the picture I am not happy with the lowest part of the trunk, and might have to go back in to adjust. I think however this was the one plant where I cracked the main trunk in my enthusiasm. \\
