This is not in our collection. We have too many “Master Class” etc books on board and they primary deal with larger trees.

If on is looking for a book that deals with working primarily with younger trees, For a wide ranging number of species Cedar to Zelkova. It’s a book that starts with basics and exceptionally well laid out, it’s my present favorite for beginners and intermediate bonsai hobbyists. Kobayashi specifically wrote this for folks starting out

Kobayashi Kunio's, “From Scratch Bonsai or What is the soul of bonsai?” It’s in Japanese, so dust off your Google Translate and have a pencil handy to write in notes. You will have to work at it a bit, but imho it worth it.
