I will be visiting Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky over Thanksgiving week. Anything I need to go see? Nursery to not miss? Bonsai exhibit?

It's about 2 hrs away from Evansville, IN and Bogans Bonsai. Last time I was there they had an amazing selection of pots.

Thanks! It is likely we will go through Evansville either coming or going. I will check them out.

Ale 8 One is a good ginger ale. Pretty sure it's bottled in Winchester, KY
1st sip will take your breath away if you inhale upon entry. Real ginger.

You're not going to be that far from Bjorn relatively speaking, might be worth swinging wide and seeing him before it's too late. If you like great food, some amazing places in Louisville, 610 Magnolia / Edward Lee is a James Beard finalist from Top Chef - great country food. Or bourbon, lots of bourbon opportunity in Kentucky 😏

I'll be looking for some bourbon, for sure.
Maybe the wifey would like to run to Louisville, be worth the ask.

Ooooh oooh! You gotta take the Appalachian highway and stop in all the little trail towns!

There's this one (I truly wish I could recall), that basically is a small, blasted-out flat to fit a gas station.... The best crab apples I've ever eaten exist on that tree.
