This one was collected by a club member in winter or spring 2021 I believe.
Looked about like this when I got it.
Pruned it back summer of 2022.
This spring (March) I repotted it into a slightly smaller wooden box. I felt like it still needs a denser rootball to go into a bonsai pot - probably in 2-3 years it will be ready. It's now in 50:50 akadama and pumice.
It grew very well this spring following the repot.
June 1st I cut everything back to about 2 nodes, cleaned up the trunk chop, and wired a few key branches.
