Yeah it will be fun to grow it out more .. like the branching and apex.. it was pot bound so it’s in a bigger pot now to spread out

Candle cut a bunch of these and I left the leaders of where to grow. Second flush starting to bud

This is growing out nicely.. I might want to shorten it over time

Cut some extra candles off .. I will set structure this fall .. I love this pine it’s from Peter Tea

I put a big deep bend in this .. I will have to get rid of the zip tie this year … but the bend will be great feature some day when I develop it further

My stuff gets no love .. but here is an update on my one favorite JbP.. next year I need to start candle cutting and wiring to bringing it closer to trunk

Redid some of the trunk firing and thinned foliage out .. so that the apexes on each of the trunks start to establish. Added direction further down on the main tree

Next year I will begin cutting candles and needle thinning then next fall will also start wiring

I need to start my own thread for this tree tonight. But again it has two possible fronts I need to wire and think out some branches that don’t make sense for my initial wiring but I love the taper , I have about an 1.5” of the actual nebari below the soil line to get even better radial ruuuuts
