Stunning nebari. On younger trees that are still in early development, do you recommend exposing the nebari that is already growing or to leave it somewhat buried to encourage additional nebari to grow on the same level?

Common literature says that the nebari grows better under the soil surface. I have the opposite experience. I always uncover nebari immedietly when i get a new tree.

Really beautiful, and I'm impatient to see them throughout the seasons.

I've rarely been convinced by 'Arakawa' bonsai, I even didn't like this one so much not long ago, but now, it's exceptional!

Magnificent. Have you reached the desired size of the crown or will you be growing it still larger?

Does this apply to nebari in any stage of development? For example, is it better to uncover nebari on younger material that is many years away from the nebari of a tree like this?

The crown will have to get much larger. Otherwise the neari is too big in comparison.

I think it always applies.
