jade leaf reduction?

Is it possible to reduce the leaf size on jade? If so, how and when?

Now, when you say Jade do you mean Crassula ovata or Portulacaria afra?

since the OP never came back, i was wonder the same fror Crassula ovata

I have both types of jades. I haven't noticed the portulacaria afra leaves reducing at all, but my ovata has new leaves growing in that are much smaller than the old ones. I chalk this up to just being outside in the sun.

all of mine have been growing outside aswell and the leaves are still on the larger side. any suggestions to help reduce them?
