So I'm fairly new to bonsai's, about 2 months in. 3 weeks ago I purchased a couple of Bonsai's from an elderly woman who recently became wheelchair bound and was unable to care for the trees any longer. 1 is a 25yr old Ficus and the other is a 10yr old Hawaiian Umbrella. Both trees around the 3 year mark since their last root trim and re-pot and are fairly root bound at the moment. My question is, is it too late in the season to give them a root trim and re-pot them? Both are indoor trees but I do try to give them 2-4 hours of sunshine time either in the morning or later afternoon when temps aren't so hot.
