Introduction, I'm a new member.

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Joe, I'm new to the forum and new to Bonsai, having only started this hobby over the last two years. I live in South Florida, all my trees are outside and get plenty of morning sun.

I'm quite excited to start attending some club meets in the local area, as well.

I've attached a pic of my Fukien Tea, I've only just recently repotted it, so it's recovering in some shade.

The pot was my wife's choice (yes, I'm throwing her under the bus). I didn't think it was going to work, but it's actually quite nice. Probably my pics don't work.
Here's the tree next to the one I had on my bench. It's a small Premna that I put into a pot too early.

Isn't premna what Robert Stevens uses for those minis?

That I'm not sure of, but I do know that Robert Steven's blog is where I first learned of the Premna. This Premna I got at Wigert's in Ft. Myers, FL.
I really like it, it's been recently defoliated, once it fills in I think it'll look nice.
I'm gonna go back through the Steven's blog again, I haven't visited that site in quite awhile.

The leaves are amazing! I don't know if there is any thing else that miniturizes the leaves as much as the Premna.

That's my thumbnail next to the leaves, and I think I can make them a little smaller.
