Here's my entry. It's a blue rug from Home Depot. There wasn't much to pick from but I think I have some ideas of what I can do with this.

I ran into some of the same problems as some of the others have been reporting. Not a whole lot to choose from, especially this time of the year. I almost bailed out, but then I said, What the heck, it is a friendly competition, Just go for it.

So, here is my juniper, in all it's glory. For now. The ax comes out of the shed tomorrow......

I also have a tale of woe. Struck out at Lowes, Wallmart and several others. Finally found this "Charlie Brown". Species unknown in a stack of no one wants me plants. Will need an extra dose of imagination to turn this pigs ear into a silk purse.

I am a Pro at crastination, so here's my entry.

I found this Juniper 'Sargenti' - Juniperus Chinensis at Home Depot for $7.98 . I have not seen a Sargent's in a long time ! Great soft needle foliage that matures to scale foliage.

It looks like a twin trunk, maybe 1/2 inch each. Most were really crowded with dead brown foliage inside with growth near the long branch tips. I pulled it open, amazingly plenty of new buds popping on the trunk and branch bases despite being shaded by the dead foliage which has me excited about this little tree.
