Assassin bug in Florida. First it poisons other insects, stabs it with its beak and then sucks out the liquefied innards of other insects.. doesn't hurt trees..

Its a beneficial insect that eats catapliiars, mosquitoes, flies etc. Farmers introduce them to crops to avoid using pesticides. It can eat insects up to 6x its size.

I finally got a coyote on camera, looking for rabbits in my yard.


Our bobcat has been hanging around a lot lately. Here it is with a bird (quail?).

I have not seen any sharp shinned or harrier hawks around here. We do have red-tailed hawks more during the summer. I enjoy seeing the birds of prey but I usually clap and run them off because I enjoy the song birds more.
