I want to hear more arguments ..Bonsai Humor Thread No. 2

I just got my first yamadori (named Bob) and I am training it to be a deciduous indoor juniper so I can appreciate the fall colours and later the branch structure in winter.
I cleaned the roots of all those little fibrous roots to accent the main roots structure.
Do you guys think this even needs a pot or can I just mist the roots every other day and maybe sometimes put an icecube in there as a snack?
I am putting this one in my portfolio for when I apply for a Japanese apprentenship.
Styling critiques are welcome after I finished the defoliation.

Misting every other day is overkill. Junipers like to dry out. A light mist every other week should be fine

Don't defoliate until you get maximum enjoyment from the fall colors. Should be seeing golden brown any moment!
