You are aware you live in desert? All of H20 wasted on personal comfort of pool is stolen from and destroys natural desert environment and all that lives there?

In Las Vegas we’ve been prepping for and living a drought lifestyle for years and years. Well over a decade. We have some of the cheapest water costs in the country and conservation is beyond important. They pay you to dig up your own grass here. All the water we live on is not taken from “desert environment” it’s brought in from the Colorado river and lake mead because of hover dam because there is no water here naturally...For the first time years water levels in the dam actually raised, most the world could take leasons from Las Vegas (looking at you California!)

"there is no water here naturally." Hit nail on head and is why should be nothing but town or SMALL city instead of metropolis!

And WHERE does that H2O come from? You are aware Colorado no longer reaches ocean as it should? And still LV lobbies to steal H2O from northern NV. What is said by local developers/development advocates nothing but whitewash and delusion/deception for masses and ignorant. Have you seen giant fountain downtown? Only one glaring example. This is conservation, this is preservation? This proves lie of conservation claim.

Mottled sun or early morning or late afternoon sun with misting, keep soil moist but not wet, don't cut the foliage, no wind and leave it in your whiskey tub for a couple years and some parts might regrow. We collect trees from high ridgelines here in the NW and sometimes it takes a couple years of almost nothing and then they start to grow again ... that was an old tree so it will take some time to figure itself out again ... maybe. Some parts will die as either the branch is gone or the root is gone ... don't give up. Keep us posted ...
