Hino Crimson

Stop bringing up bad memories!

Very nice though.

I am going back and getting more!

Oh the blue light, i thought it had blue flowers but it's just the light on the leaves. It's very nice maybe clean the death leaves and trash off the soil.

The leaves were wet and I think that the blue is the reflection of the sky, enhanced by my crappy photography skills. I agree, it does need a cleaning.

I would have gone for glazed pots, blues or greens to add to the "pop" of the flower color. Is there a horticultural reason for unglazed? Or you just didn't have the right glazed pots on hand?

But pots shapes are fine.

Nice, I need to get me a hino or Christmas cheer, really nice red, and I love the progress these are making, more tree like every year.

Thanks! I really like how this girl is coming along, too. She will probably get a light trim this weekend.

I hope to get some glazed for them, these were the only pots that I had on hand. Unfortunately, there is not a place within driving distance that I can purchase them so I have to order. Pots of this size are not all that expensive, but the shipping is awful. So, I am slowly buying a few here or there.

Thanks,

John

Update:

It was time for a repot on this little lady. I was hoping to do a step by step on it but got caught up in the work and did not take very many pictures, so, here is what I have.

The last time we saw it, it looked like this
