I've been thinking of buying a high pressure water gun to clean the trunks of my bonsai.
But the price for an original "bonsai spray gun" is way too high IMO.

While searching online I found out that a textile spot cleaning gun is more or less the same and they can be found for a fraction of the price on sites like Aliexpress.

Does anybody use this type of tool to clean the trunks of your bonsai?
Can this type of tool also take off the loose bark of junipers?

This is a randon example of a Kaneshin pressure washer.

I do! I like it ,however it is powerful and can damage the bark if left in one place too long. You have to keep it moving!! It will clean where toothbrush won't go.

During my last bonsai gang meet up one of my friends brought this and let people borrow it. Definitely start on the low setting and work your way up from there, but it worked really well.

Thanks for the replies, I'm convinced that I need one of those tools. :D
I just ordered a textile spot cleaning spray gun on Aliexpress for only € 29,59 including free shipping.

I think @yenling83 posted about it recently on his instagram page, and on his word and the recommendation of a few others I listed it HERE

I personally use the one from Kaneshin, which works well for cleaning the deadwood of Ume--my only use for it, personall--if you're very careful, because it will easily leave lines in the wood.

Don't forget the 250% tariff. Payable upon delivery I suppose?
No, the price I paid is the final price for the item, there are no extra VAT or custom charges (anymore).
When buying from Aliexpress you have to pay VAT if you live in the EU (platform regeling voor de BTW).
