Dear colleagues,

I recently purchased a Korean hornbeam, and the pot it's in seems to me that is also from Korea.

It has a really loevly blue-purple-ish hue to it with some browns on the top part.

Has anyone seen a stamp similar to this one or knows who the potter might be?

Thanks!!

I like the glaze! And that is cool, the chop mark is Korean. I couldn’t find any info on the potter. The chop mark says mokhwa from what I found. Meaning cotton or plant.

Thank you both! I also looked at it trough Google Lens and I also found something similar related to cotton, but nothing related to a potter.

I guess it might be a low production/local potter with not a lot of renown. But hey, sometimes a pot doesn't need to be from a famous potter to look great!
