Help me with a 7 year plan for a bonsai rookie

Quite an achievement Uncle in a short 4 years. I just got my PP from Nao last night. I didn't see you listed Wrightia Religiosa. Does it still alive and well?
It lost all the leaves after being moved to the garage but I think it will come back.

I should have probably added earlier - JBP are highly salt spray resistant and are good for coastal environments.

But let me also add... Chinese elms! The easiest deciduous tree to keep, easy to cultivate, and numerous interesting cultivars. You need tons of those.

JM is hard to keep in Zone 9A - not because of the heat but because of the lack of cold. They do best with a little more winter.
