Help identifying bulbous growth on Oak

Can anyone tell me what this growth is on a live Oak I have been growing from seed here in Florida. I don't know if it is just a growth or an insect? Any help is appreciated .

Your tree has some gall. Google "galls on oak"

Thank you! Looks like there isn't much I can do to stop it. It pruned the ones off from last season, but now they are back again. No big deal it was an experimental tree anyway.
