Why do you say it doesn't have a ton of vigor? The foliage looks pretty healthy. At one time it looks like it was in trouble, but now it looks ok to me anyway.

This isn't one of your larches from Kris Springer is it?

I was just talking to @Pitoon about Black Dodge Bonsai, and knew you had made the trip. Are they in Maine? I'm curious how far from me they are.

It is, all the larch I have came from Kris. He’s out in Springfield MA - definitely worth the trip. He’s a super nice dude, has a ton of stuff for purchase and can show you/speak to the Lenz pieces he has in his garden. DM me if you’re interested and I can send you his email address, like I said super swell dude.

I need to get out there this summer to get a couple EWC. NEBS has a meeting at his place in July, hopefully things line up so I can attend.
