Great workshop day with Bjorn

Had an all day workshop with Bjorn Bjorholm yesterday. My main subject was a sierra juniper that I collected about four years ago. Bjorn's skill and vision are amazing and the tree turned out far better than I could have hoped for.

Beautiful result! Must have been a memorable day with a few Ah Ha moments tucked in between. From collection to this stage in that short a time speaks for great care! Well done!

Very nice, i'm a fan! Really like the angle and design. If it was mine, i'd shorten those jins at the top left as i'd want the viewer's eye to get caught up on that beautiful natural deadwood and trunk movement. But that could be an option for the future. Great work!

I decided I hated the native male foliage which was always covered with pollen cones so I'm approach grafting it with Itoigawa.
