it is difficult parsing YouTube’s offerings for decent repotting video’s. If you have any links, please share. Please no “spaghnum only” types. I know there are plenty of videos of how not to repot.
Specifically, I am gathering courage to repot my eastern hemlock in the Spring, and want to move to a much shallower pot. It is quite root bound but healthy with vigorous growth this season. The main example I can find, from nursery material, is labeled a “fail” and the plant didn’t make it.
Anyways, I feel if we share some of our favorite available repotting videos here, it could be a nice resource.

here is a good public one (I believe) from Ryan Neil. (Please let me know if it is not public content)

I think repotting, like everything else, is something that us creatures of habit do with a process that "works".

Every method on the internet works.

It is a need to eke out every tiny percentage of "better", that should lead us to gather all the information available, then use every tool in different combinations when the specific situation presents itself.

For a better understanding, sit through the 3 minutes of controversial topic to learn of systems thinking, and it's application to this concept of repotting.

are you wanting to see conifers or deciduous trees being repotted?
Ryan has repotted loads of conifers on the streams. some are on youtube. G potter also has a couple.

Conifers mainly; I’d love to see some Tsuga for some genus specific advice. I’ve pretty much given up on T. canadensis specific. Fortunately, they seem to be pretty forgiving.

Here is the root ball of the tree I’d like to get about half as shallow.

Here is another good one.. happens to be Ryan Neil. I promise I’m not a total fanboy.

Yes, I have based my repotting plan for my hemlock mainly from @River's Edge advice.
Repotting video’s, however, are my kind of bonsai porn, for whatever reason, if that makes sense, and I can only find two examples of Tsuga repottings so far. One was real short with no commentary. And, the other resulted in the death of the tree.

Ooh I found a Tsuga video. Not a lot of species specific advice, but pretty good general repotting:
