Ginkgo… big gingko

It’s been a year… super hot summer in Shanghai but tree did great considering major repotting and bear rooting back in spring last year. Did winter maintenance this morning… some minor improvement with ramification but if there is one tree that teaches you patience… this is it! Currently in temporary pot… will need to look for something nice couple years down the road… buried it little bit deeper than it was initially as I’m trying to improve nebari even more.

Really a great tree, you are doing a good job. The fantastic bark give a big plus to it. I have an old and tall Ginkgo, love his trunk. I found it abandoned in a garden nursery, and now it's with me since 10 years or more. Only this year i've got the right inspiration to work on It, and It will have a better pot...I will open a thread about it...
