Hello everyone!

I am brand new to bonsainut.com. I am a beginner bonsai enthusiast and I finally have a few plants in my collection. My first plant was this Fukien Tea, which I have had for almost a year. I have just started to use special fertilizer / seven insect spray (when I see insects) / and this liquid seaweed root grow (dark black liquid) on my plants. I only sprayed this particular fukien tea once with the seven spray and once with the root grow. However, I feel as if I have been watering the fukien too much lately, as I have noticed the soil has been damper than normal. It is also important to note that I live in South Florida, and even though it is winter, the humidity is a breeding ground for mold. As you can see on the images, I am concerned about the white moldish looking residue that is on the trunk of my fukien. If anyone can identify this as mold and possibly suggest an anti-fungal spray, that would at least put my mind at ease. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

That may be wooly aphids. The pictures aren't that clear. Rub one of those patches of white fuzz, then look at your finger. Any red color? If so, that's a critter, not a mold.

JKL might right about aphids. I was looking at it and thought it almost looks like lime residue like you get from well water in the south, its sort of like a white powdery looking substance, its hard to tell from those pics but it looks very thin, so thats my best guess.
