So tonight it’s going to drop to 53F so I pulled all the tropical in. It’s going to rise back up to almost 80F in the day next week so these guys still have some time outside before winter.

Mine have seen a couple of nights in the 40's and are fine. Supposed to be back to 80 with lows in the 50's next week. Once they're in they're in, so I'm holding out as long as I can.

I would have left them outside if I repotted earlier. I am probably worrying too much but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Just a little extra work to carry them out again in the morning.

Obviously, I have too many because it would be alot more than "just a little extra work" for me. ;)

My BRT and Ficus stayed outside last night and it went down to 54.
They are fine with that.

However tonight its going down to 41 so I put the trops in the garage.
Will be like that for the next couple of nights.
Next week its going back to high 50s at night and 70s during the day so they will be outside full time then.

I’m leaving mine out despite 43f forecast tonight.. but you do have me wondering. And 41 in a couple nights. I feel like this is early for me to bring them in.. and it will warm up again for sure.

I follow Jerry Meislik's advice on having tropical acclimate easier when they move inside. My tropical since that advice never see below 65F. Do I notice a change...yes. i have no foliage loss. They come in and hit growth spurts. My trees grow through winter. Never skipping a beat. I did the two step for awhile...but no more. Not when they were sitting in the cold greenhouse longer than out on the bench. They moved inside. I have had several nights hit 30F. Today's high is 66F. Lake front living...we won't even see that.

Image of the tigerbark...pushing growth just days after the move inside. He's got more new growth now. But this was on my phone already.

We keep our thermostat low for our bulldogs. So my secondary is running in my tropical room so they are warm...

My house won't be 66 until May! It's a meat-locker in here!:(:D:D
P. afras not too worried about, figs are pretty sturdy...

Bougie seems to flower lots this time of year for some reason, pretty rugged species

Raintree gets a little "puckered" though....

Can you spell out Jerry’s advice a little more. I.e move them in sooner or later when the temps start to dip.
