Ficus Ginseng leaves rapidly dropping! Need some help in saving the plant

Hi everyone,

I've just returned from a trip abroad and had left my Ficus Ginseng in the care of my wife 🙃. Unfortunately, I've come back to find that the leaves are browning, some are turning pale green, and they're dropping at quite an alarming rate.

I'm not entirely sure what's stressing the plant, but I suspect underwatering might be a major factor, as the soil feels quite dry. I'm really hoping to save it before it's too late, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've attached some pictures for reference — thanks in advance for your help!

It will be fine. Continue as normal with watering. Put it outside in the summer when it gets over 40 degrees at night if you want to see it explode in growth!

Thanks all I'll continue giving it some water and hopefully things improve!

In terms of keeping it outside I live in the UK is this an option given our unpredictable summers? 😁

Do you get freezing weather in summer? If you don't the tree should be outside in full sun until autumn frosts.
