Ficus Fusion Project

And the reason I chose not to wrap the trees together with anything is because there are a couple of lower branches that I'd like to keep, and wrapping would only smother them:

FrankenFicus is pushing out a ton of growth. Go Frankentree go.

Nice project. I didn't read all the posts but want to say that they fuse much quicker with wrapped together with some pressure. With your setup I can see on the bottom when they eventually fatten up into eachother they will fuse but you should wrap them with something otherwise they will move away from the cage and eachother and not fuse.

Thanks, but like I said, there are some lower branches that I would lose if I wrapped them, so I'm just leaving them unwrapped to let those branches grow.

This first one has tons of roots now. I'd love to repot, but there's no telling which cuttings haven't rooted and which have. Guess I could just slip pot them into a bigger container....

Those are such cool containers to have when rooting cuttings. I would definitely leave them a little longer before slipping into a larger pot.

They make rooting cuttings a breeze. I think I will wait longer to repot, but not because the roots may appear frail, but instead like I said that all the cuttings may not be rooted.

Here we are today. Looks like I've lost a few trees, but that was kind of expected. Not a big deal.
