Excellent Video on repotting and refinement of deciduous trees

Yes. Deciduous trees you can barefoot and cut back hard as long as there are feeder roots.

Did you pick up the message that he planted it deep? That was he's hoping more roots will come off the base of the tree? That's something a lot of people do wrong. They try to expose the surface roots. During the development stage, roots grow better buried.

By the way, those black gloves he's wearing are inexpensive oil change gloves available at Advantage Autoparts. They're non-latex. They come in Boxes of 100.

The black ones are a little thicker than the blue ones, so they hold up a little better.

Thanks for posting the video, and the tip about the gloves. I was wondering what kind they were.

Did he say the first tree was a birch? Couldn't really tell but that's what it sounded like.

He wears gloves when repotting. He usually doesn't wear them when pruning, he just forgot to take them off!

Gloves help to keep the dirt out of the fingernails!

Good video! Thanks Adair- great instruction for any beginner wondering how to report correctly.

Glad you don't have to sign up to watch that!

No wonder people like learning with Boon.

I like his style!
