Got this from wigerts, was cheap and had aerial roots. Not sure of the care and what people's experience is. Leaves are randomly turning green to yellow, it's outside on a west balcony. Tree has no structure, pre bonsai wouldn't even know where to chop but for now if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.

Got to get it healthy before you do any work on it
How often do you water it?

Can't make heads nor tails of the photo. There are 5 things sticking into the soil that may or may not be different plants. Please describe what we are looking at.

Like I said it's a mess, hopefully these help. First I'm trying to figure out why it's dropping leaves. Nursery has it in a mix of pine bark and potting soil but it seems to dry relatively quick. Second is the structure. There's the main stem that bends and then the rest are all literally aerial roots growing all over the place. Last pic u can see the main trunk if u can call it that.

Nursery said it's in a mix of potting soil and pine bark but it seems to dry relatively quick. I sprayed with a fungicide because a tree close to it was sick but now there's a sticky residue that doesn't seem to come off no matter how much I wipe and it accumulates lint and dust outside. I wipe this off every other day, it's inside now because temps dropped to 48. I don't get what it is, even when I touch the leaves and rub it off it's sticky. I use a skewer and water 2-3x a week no more than that.

Sticky residue......Look for scale or aphids.
Scale in particular drop sap as they suck on the tree. It gets all over the leaves and is very sticky

So I think it's just because of the fungicide I used (bioadvanced 3 in 1) and used too much cuz it's only on the plants I sprayed.

So, it's done it's job, rinse it off. (Into the soil as much as you can.)
