My kojo no Mai that's been suffering I found today has the other half of the twin trunk dead
I'm just guessing that I should give up on it and toss it, what do you guys think?

Plant it in the ground somewhere if you have the space. I had three in baskets and six in ground. Ones in baskets had leaf spot and defoliation all summer and one died. Six in ground have doubled and tripled their size and have had no issues whatsoever. THe two that survived in baskets are now in the ground. I am going to let them grow freely for at least 3 years.
