Damn summer vacations

I am SO sorry this happened to you. I, too, have issues with leaving my many plants that I have loved
and labored over. Even hubby does not do a good job (sorry honey). Am trying to pair down quite a
bit. Tried to teach neighborhood kids to water but. . . not a good solution. Really need someone from
the Bonsai Club to come over and check/water each day but. . .. .current club is not as friendly as my
old club. Wah.. . . .

My deshojo has 10 leaves right now... hope it can add some more leaves to produce some energy for winter and next spring.
The large maple has dropped a lot of leaves but has not opened more leaves. It might think it was too close to autumn to reopen leaves, I hope I don't get dieback, but buds seem intact.

RIP.

Three maples and an azalea that got hit did not make it... Luckily only prebonsai.
The crabapple, my nice palmatum and the elm from the first pics are budding out normally.
The loss was not so bad...

glad some pulled through.

I was gone for two and a half weeks, had my girlfriend's mother water my trees. They all look better than when I left.

of course I had to do some weeding.
