If not for the flowers I probably would have ditched mine. I think the year before i got my first big display of flowers on this one i was really considering getting rid of it to clear up bench space. But i kept it and you are right, the flowers are nice and I end up looking forward to them each year although i probably won't get many next flowering time after the cutback.

Ended Up selling the big one but still have a piece of it that I’ve been keeping in a small pot. It got cooked a few weeks back and has now pushed out the second flush of leaves( that I’ve been trying to prevent from getting cooked again!)

Repotted into same pot and wired branches further downward. No flowers this year.
