I found this potted myrtle cooked from the sun in a corner of the nursery, still green under the bark. It seems to have nice movement and taper Am I wrong?
They didn't have any others that were more definitely alive? Sure, I can see a tiny tree there, but who knows which branches will actually sprout new leaves?
Ask them if they are trowing it away, maybe they will give it to you for free. I got some plants that were going to be thrown away this way, most died, but i have 3 that survived.
Different parts of the world on different time zones. You may need to be a little more patient to get good answers. Definitely more patient to get good bonsai.
The tree appears to have some taper but we usually look for more pronounced taper which helps with forced perspective.
I do agree that the existing trunk bends are good.
As some others have already said, now we wait to see if it survives. Fortunately myrtles are pretty resilient so it should regrow.
