Bought this tree from Will (grouper52) in February 2020. It was collected in Vancouver island in bog lands on a trip with Dan Robinson. Not sure exactly how long but 5-10 years prior. I’ve wired the tree several times and have taken the tree to a couple workshops. Slowly tilting the tree over two repottings. 2 years ago a workshop with Mauro Stemberger we decided on a direction. Another workshop last weekend where I brought the tree fully wired and ready for styling with Mauro Stemberger. Realizing through direct experience, there really is no such thing as a “finished bonsai” they are always evolving.
