Collected Hawthorn History

I like you repotting table Brian. Unique and very useable it looks like. Is there a garbage can under the hole?
PS: what does soji mean?
This is the repotting table. The top is just a sheet of plywood sitting on some wood dowels. The box underneath catches the old soil. I also have a set of sifting screens that can sit where the plywood top is so I can screen large quantities of soil pretty quickly.

Intriguing! Are the screens shorter than the frame, so you can "shake" them?

Deleted and started a new thread. Sorry Brian. Erase pls admin.

It’s really hanging into its leaves! Here we are in January 2025 with nearly a full canopy still.

It looks like it thinks it's an Azalea now! Pretty colors for January. It would look great against our snow here!

Repotted today. This one never shed all of its leaves over the winter, and it is definitely growing now. Breaking it loose from the pot.

First round of root reduction.

Once the lapping roots are cut away, I make fresh cuts around the sides.
